Boys In The Brick Factory
2008 Luang namtha, Laos
One day, during a travel I did in Laos, I rented a scooter, and drove in the opposite direction of anybody else. Out to see some real people, see some of the real Laos. Close to the Chinese boarder, I found these boys.
They dug up clay, threw it down in an ancient machine, that shaped them into squares. Then dried them in the hot sun.
They made bricks.
